The transition from graduate school into real clinical work can feel like a gap between what you learned and what it actually takes to sit with clients, make decisions, and trust yourself.
I provide LPC and LMFT supervision for associates across Texas as a board-approved, dual-licensed LPC-S and LMFT-S. My approach is grounded, relational, and practical, supporting both your clinical development and your long-term career direction.
Many of the clinicians I work with are early in their careers and want more than basic supervision. They want to become more confident in the room, develop their own clinical voice, and understand how to build a career they actually want.
If you’re an LPC Associate, LMFT Associate, or pursuing dual licensure, we’ll work on both sides of that transition: becoming the therapist you want to be and building a professional life that fits your values, strengths, and goals.
I intentionally keep my supervision caseload small, with a maximum of six supervisees. Spots open as availability allows.
We’ll talk through your goals, what you’re looking for in a supervisor, and whether this feels like the right fit.
You might be:
You don't need to have everything figured out before you start supervision. That's part of what supervision is for.
I integrate individual and systemic perspectives so you can better understand your clients, work with complexity, and think beyond a single diagnosis or presenting problem.
As both an LPC-S and LMFT-S, I can support associates pursuing LPC licensure, LMFT licensure, or both. We’ll work toward meeting the requirements of each license while developing a cohesive professional identity.
If private practice is part of your long-term plan, you don't have to wait until you're fully licensed to start thinking about how you want your practice to work.
We'll talk about things like fees, niche development, systems, boundaries, private-pay work, and sustainability so you're building intentionally rather than trying to figure everything out later.
Early supervision may focus heavily on what to do. As your experience grows, our work shifts toward how you think, make decisions, assess situations, and show up as a clinician.
You can expect a balance of support, challenge, and honest feedback tailored to where you are in your development.
Weekly supervision is held via HIPAA-secure video and includes both individual and group supervision. Each offers a different opportunity for learning, feedback, and professional development.
Supervision is structured to meet Texas LPC and LMFT board requirements for licensure.
Sessions may include:
Individual supervision provides focused, personalized support based on your development and current clinical work.
Group supervision expands your perspective through collaborative learning and gives you the opportunity to hear how other clinicians approach cases and professional questions.
Over time, the focus shifts from simply knowing what to do to developing the judgment and confidence to determine what makes sense for yourself and your clients.
