You did what you were supposed to do. You built the career, the relationships, the life. So why doesn't it feel the way you thought it would?
You're capable, ambitious, and used to figuring things out. But maybe you're overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or questioning whether the life you've built is actually the life you want.
You don't have to throw your life away. You may need to understand yourself differently.
I help high-achieving women in Texas, Missouri, and New York understand what's underneath the pressure, reconnect with what they want, and create a life that feels fulfilling not just successful.
You know how to work hard. Be responsible. Make the right choice. Keep going.
Those strategies may have gotten you exactly where you are.
But being responsible can become feeling responsible for everyone. High standards can become never feeling like you've done enough. Achievement can become part of your identity.
You might be:
You aren't failing. You may have outgrown the way you've learned to measure a successful life.
You may come to therapy because you're anxious, burned out, overwhelmed, or unhappy.
But therapy with me isn't about teaching you to tolerate a life that isn't working.
We'll explore why you operate the way you do and what keeps those patterns going.
That can mean working on:
We'll also consider the larger context of your life: family, culture, gender, socioeconomic background, relationships, media, and society.
We don't just ask how to make the feeling go away. We ask why it keeps happening and what you want to do differently.
You don't need someone to tell you what to do.
You need someone who will help you understand why you keep doing what you do.
You're willing to look honestly at yourself. You're open to being challenged. You want more than a place to vent.
And you're ready to do something with what you discover.
If that sounds like you, we may be a good fit.
Therapy isn't about becoming less ambitious.
It's about having more choice in how you live.
You may begin to:
You don't necessarily need a completely different life. You may need a life that fits the person you've become.
First-generation professional women make up a significant part of my practice.
You may have worked incredibly hard to become the person your family hoped you'd become. Your success may represent sacrifice, security, and an opportunity you didn't want to waste.
So what happens when you get there and still don't feel fulfilled?
You can be grateful for what you've built and still want something different.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor with eight years of clinical experience, including six years in private practice.
I'm direct, collaborative, and relational. I'll point out patterns and contradictions when I see them, challenge your thinking when it's useful, and give you room to discover your own answers.
I don't believe your life can be understood in isolation. Family, culture, gender, socioeconomic background, relationships, and society all shape how we learn to see ourselves and what we believe we're supposed to want.
My job isn't to decide what your life should look like. It's to help you understand yourself well enough to decide.
Starting therapy is a big decision, especially when you're used to figuring things out yourself.
That's why the first step isn't months of therapy.
It's a conversation.
Choose a time that works for you. Consultations are 15 minutes.
We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you'd like to change, and whether my approach fits what you're looking for.
If we're a good fit, we'll discuss starting therapy. If I'm not the right therapist, I'll tell you.
No pressure. Just a conversation.
No pressure. Just a conversation to figure out what's next.

No. Many of the women I work with are functioning well in their careers, relationships, and daily lives. They seek therapy because something no longer feels sustainable, fulfilling, or aligned, even when everything looks fine from the outside.

Yes. First-generation professional women make up a significant part of my practice. We may explore family expectations, achievement, financial responsibility, identity, and cultural and socioeconomic factors.
That's okay. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin with what's happening now and work together to understand it.
I offer private-pay therapy rather than billing insurance directly. This gives us greater flexibility to structure therapy around your goals and needs.
I provide virtual therapy to clients located in Texas, Missouri, and New York, consistent with the requirements of each jurisdiction.
The free 15-minute consultation is a chance to talk about what's bringing you in, ask questions, and decide whether we'd be a good fit.
You don't have to give up your ambition. You don't have to start over.
You get to create a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
